video game console, multiplayer game

Late last night I woke up to go to the bathroom and I noticed that the light was on in the guest room, which is also the room where we have our video game console. We call it our guest room since it is where we put guests when they visit, but the kids tend to call it the gaming room. They play their most recent games there, and they also have their video game console connected to the TV in there. It makes it much easier for them to play in the guest room as opposed to them having the video game console in the living room. When we have company, the kids always retire to the room and pull out the video game console. Most of the time, I go behind the kids to check out and make sure that they've put the console away before they go to bed, but last night I was so tired that I left my husband awake with the children and I went to bed.

Needless to say, when I went into the room to turn out the light, the fact that the video game console was laying in the middle of the room did not make me a happy person. I was annoyed at the children for leaving the video game console out in the first place, but I was also annoyed with my husband since I'd gone to bed and left him in charge to make sure that the kids followed their routine and did everything they were supposed to do. Maybe next time I should hire a babysitter for all of them.

The multiplayer game that I ordered the kids from Bolluck Mall whose online store can be found by visiting www.bolluckmall.com arrived yesterday and I figure they were playing it on the video game console for most of the evening. I actually expected them to spend the evening playing the multiplayer game, but I also know that my husband knows how I expect the kids to pick up after themselves each and every night before bed and when I'm awake, they do exactly that without me asking. Obviously because my husband was the one that was awake, they decided to push the buttons to see if they could go to bed without putting away the video game console, and they were victorious. Rather than put it away myself, which is normally what I would do, I decided to let them put the video game console away themselves this morning, and I think I'll let my husband help them. Maybe this time they will all learn a lesson, although I'm doubtful.
