multiplayer game, video game console It is sort of sad to say but for the past year I have not been very active in the sporting arena. Through college there was always pickup basketball games or a home run derby waiting to compete in. Now I live in a place where many of my friends are working the 9 to 5 and when we are all done working, no one wants to play sports. A couple of them play intramural soccer and flag football on the weekend but I was too late on the draw to sign up. Apart from golf, tennis and random competitions here and there my competitive spirit is staying alive with multiplayer games. At any hour of the day 365 there is someone online who is ready to throw down on the video game console.

Last night I played like a professional with a group of friends and that same feeling of winning the game in the last second came over me. With the sun out and the days longer, I’m going to make an effort to get back into pickup games. Multiplayer games are great but so is getting out there and being active.
