My kids love to play games and a few nights ago during dinner they decided to get my husband and me in on the conversation about which video game console was our favorite. I knew that my husband would probably say the Wii, and sure enough that's exactly what he said. When it came my turn to respond, I told the kids that my favorite video game console was my little Nintendo DS Lite, which also happened to be the gift they gave me for Christmas. The truth is I love my Nintendo DS Lite. The kids both have one along with a larger video game console, and I enjoyed playing there’s so much that I wanted one of my own. I actually made the comment to my daughter one day when she asked if she could have her Nintendo DS Lite back so that she could play against one of her friends online. She remembered the comment that I made and shared it with my husband. I carry mine with me pretty much everywhere I go. I usually keep the volume muted since I play it in the car when my husband’s driving us on long trips, and when I'm sitting in the doctor’s office I have been known to pull out the Nintendo DS to play a few games. I have to keep in check that I am in the doctor’s office so I don't get excited and start screaming. That has happened, once and I was more embarrassed than you can imagine. After all, I am a grown woman.
