multiplayer game, video game consoleLast night I joined a party of some very intense FPS multiplayer game players in favorite modern day shooter. I had met one of the players through random multiplayer games and after planning against their nine-man team for about an hour, he sent me an invite to play on their team. This was much better because for that first hour I lost every single game. The problem is when a bunch of random people play with each other there is never enough communication. FPS titles are all about communicating. It seems over the top to bark out commands and locations through a headset on the video game console but to be great that is what has to happen.

I learned that they keep three snipers in the back with three or so guys wielding close combat weapons while the rest stick together and storm buildings with assault rifles. The result is when one person goes down there is always someone to avenge the death. This keeps the other team from gaining many kill streaks. They also talk a lot and have landmarks for every map for quicker intel. This was multiplayer games at the next level.
