multiplayer games, video game consoleI don’t think I have any friends who don’t find some kind of entertainment value out of a video game console. I do have one buddy who looks at his roommate and I as complete nerds because we love playing Xbox 360 multiplayer games online but not even he can deny his love for playing titles like Super Mario Kart or Diddy Kong Racing on N64. Don’t ask me why he hasn’t evolved with the new video game consoles but he does like to play those childhood classics.

Anyway I was online playing multiplayer games when a long time freind, I haven’t seen in about a year got online. I sent him a chat invitation and soon we were catching up. I asked him what was going on in his life and after all the average talk about work and weather, he told me he’d proposed to his girlfriend. Whaat. I had to pause the multiplayer games for this one. Not knowing what to say, I yelped out, “Congrats Man.” Talk about a big step. I’m happy for him though and our group of friends have already been brainstorming bachelor party ideas.
