video game console, multiplayer games There has been talk for a long time about a PS3 called MAG that reportedly will allow up to 256 people to play online within the multiplayer games. This is amazing. There is not a shooter out now that even comes close to this scope. The map in the video game console clip below is massive. This is the first real step to imitating what a real battle could be like. My question is how this game is going to deal with all the different network strengths.



Right now, I am playing a lot Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer games where the max number of people is 18 when playing Ground War. It is not out of the ordinary to lag with this many people. Luckily, the MW2 developers made a new feature that will freeze gameplay when it gets to slow, find the best new host, and then start where it left off with a better connection. MAG is the first step in really creating an epic online experience. Don’t know when it is coming out on the PS3 video game console but I’m sure Sony owners can’t wait.
