I own several different video game consoles, in fact, all three of the most popular consoles that are currently on the market. I own them for several reasons. One, I love to play video games and like to keep my options open. Two, there are certain games that you can only find on specific video game consoles. And three, I enjoy writing reviews of different games. The one thing that I have noticed about the current selection of video game consoles is that Nintendo consoles are the most family-friendly. The ESRB (which is the company that rates the appropriateness of the content of video games to help parents select games for their kids) has rated most of the games that I have played on Nintendo consoles as E for everyone. Thinking back, Nintendo consoles have always taken the lead with child-friendly games. Today, the Wii is no different. There are dozens of games that are made just for kids, and the more mature games like Grand Theft Auto are even regulated so they are far less violent on the Nintendo consoles.
